The project
John Bell & Croyden are a prestigious Pharmacy and Wellbeing Emporium. They've earned a global reputation for delivering excellence with 220 year’s experience in the industry. Located on Wigmore St. London, their shop boasts large front windows sizing up to 2.5 metres x 3 metres.

They, like many others, had suffered from product damage due to the solar heat and UV radiation coming through their windows and furthermore the shop was overheating, causing discomfort for their staff and customers.

Project challenges

Our client needed a solution which didn’t obscure the window displays, as well as the instalment to avoid disrupting the continuity of the store.

How sun-x approached the challenge

Our solution? Clearview Film. It reduces over 99% of UV Rays and almost 50% of Solar Heat Gain, without obscuring the display windows. The perfect outcome. We were able to fit the window film during open hours, without disrupting the running of the store.

Outcome

Since the instalment, John Bell & Croydon now have a more pleasant environment for both staff and customers to reside in, and their products are better preserved, now that they are no longer at risk of damage from UV radiation.
